Award Information: $30,000 for a 12-month period to curate and develop a Research AMP partner site on a topic of the awardee's choice.

The SSRC invites letters of interest from research groups to develop public scholarship platforms centered on a question, topic, or theme using Research AMP, a plug-and-publish research area mapping platform that uses Zotero, PressForward, and WordPress to help scholars share their research with broader audiences. Up to four selected teams will receive a grant to curate and develop Research AMP partner sites on a topic of their choice, in any area of the social sciences or humanities of contemporary public concern. Projects illuminating the experiences of historically marginalized people are especially encouraged, as are those that can constructively inform policy responses across communities and institutions. The awards are directed to projects that are grounded in principles of collaboration and equity, and composed of partners who might not otherwise work together. In this regard, strong applications will not simply be interdisciplinary, but also multi-method or cross-sector.
